Services Provided
We work with each client to take any, some, or all of the effort of planning gatherings off of their shoulders based on each person's individual preference.
Booking with Second Valley Events starts with a no-cost consultation meeting to discuss your ideas for a unique, personalized event; in person meetings are recommended; online video meetings are also available. We will discuss your wishes, concerns, and hopes for the style and mood of the gathering, accessibility needs, guest list and timing considerations.
From there, services can include event design, indoor and outdoor space recommendation and booking, choosing and securing vendors (caterers, musicians, florists, lighting, decor, outdoor equipment, linens, invitations) and managing guest lists. For larger events and out of town guests we can secure hotel room blocks and other travel arrangements.
We also offer referrals to death care services including advance care planning services, elder and estate attorneys, death doulas, body disposition options and more.
Rates
Initial consultation (60-90 min): Free
Event design & implementation: Base rate £515 + 15% of vendor
& service rental fees
A la carte design services: £45-65/hr
Day of event on-site services: £60/hr
